A World Of Knowledge In Three Minutes

Knowledge is everywhere.

So is inspiration.

You just have to open your eyes and ears to find it.

Books.  Movies.  Serious dissertations.  Comedy sketches.  Music.

People listen to songs, but they don’t hear the lyrics.

The message is lost.  Even though the message can be anywhere.

Did you ever read about a frog who dreamed of being a king
And then became one
Well, except for the names and a few other changes
If you talk about me, the story’s the same one.

Neil Diamond wrote those words.  The song is called I am…I said.

It inspires me.  I still stop and listen to every word every time I hear the song.

The internet bombards us with millions of bytes of information on a daily basis.

It’s fast.  Blazing fast.

So fast that much knowledge and much inspiration just zings right past us.

There’s no time to stop, absorb, think and internalize the content.

My wife, the moral compass, sent me one of those advertising messages from a motivational website.

You’ve seen them.  Lots of rah, rah, rah and not much substance.  I usually just delete them.

But I never delete emails from the moral compass.

I watched it.  Three minutes long.  One liners.  Every single one of them a true gem of knowledge and inspiration.

Thank goodness it was a video.  I watched it 4 times today.  And three of those times I paused the video and just spent a few moments thinking about the brilliance of each line.

It was truly marvelous.  I thought.  I pondered.  I learned.

Boy, did I learn.

I’m sharing it with you now because it made me think.

Don’t believe for a second that this is an endorsement for the company that is marketing their program.  I actually haven’t even looked at their program yet.  I might.

But they sure got the message right this time.

The question is, will you take the time to hear the message?

Watch it.  Hit the pause button and actually think for just a minute about what it means.

Is it wisdom that applies to you?

Is it an inspiration to you today?

A world of knowledge in three minutes – right here.

A super successful friend of mine uses the Gandhi phrase from that video at the bottom of every single email he sends.

I never really thought about it before, but that’s a wonderful message to send to every person you communicate with.

If you enjoyed the video as much as I did, please send the link to this website to someone you care about.

If you didn’t, please let me know.
